Liz and I are excited to announce the birth of our son Asher Jaxon Swab. Asher was born on May 8 at 1:28pm, weighing 8 lbs 6 oz and measuring 20.5" long. The name Asher means "blessed" and Jaxon means "God is gracious". We have certainly felt God's blessing and grace immensely in the last year. Thank you so much for your prayers, which helped Asher arrive happy and healthy.
It has been amazing to finally be full time at the eMi Canada office. Most of my time so far has been spent finishing up work on our Guatemala project report and design drawings. I feel I have been able to serve God at eMi much more effectively in the last month and a half.
We want to serve with eMi for a long time. To do so, we need to maintain a healthy, sustainable support level. We still haven't quite reached our final partnership goal, but trust God is still working in the hearts of others to provide exactly what we need.
Currently, we're hoping to raise another $400-$500 per month. Please pray about ways you can help. We especially appreciate references to friends and family who may be interested in partnering with us. We would love to be introduced via email, phone, in person or by sharing our website bradenandliz.com.
As always, we are so thankful for the impact you've had already.
Between my Guatemala trip, full time at eMi and our baby, we've had a lot of new stuff to update you on in the last couple of newsletters. As our lives get back into a new rhythm, I hope to be able to share more about the real, tangible impact eMi is having around the world. There are a lot of amazing stories that I am excited to share with you in the near future.
